Redington Shores is north of North Redington Beach and Redington Shores. Redington Beach is on Gulf Blvd from 155th Avenue to 164th Avenue, North Redington Beach is from 164th Avenue to 183rd Avenue. The Redington area it primarily residential homes. The first residence was built in the Redington area in 1935, now just about every piece of land is developed.
Redington Shores has a population of about 2,300. The town has a total area of 1.2 miles. Most of the area is water, .8 and has .4 miles of land. The Gulf of Mexico borders the west side of the town while the intracostal is on the east side.
At 175th Avenue is the Redington Fishing Pier. It is a great pier to go fishing on, or to just watch a beautiful sunset.
