Madeira Beach is just 2 miles long and has a population of just under 5000. The city has the Gulf of Mexico on one side and the intercostal on the east side. The area is primarily residential with some commercial. The total area of the city is 3.2 square miles with water encompassing 2.2 square miles and land is only 1 square mile. Maderia Beach is a beautiful clean city with quiet neighborhoods.
Maderia Beach has St. John's Pass Village which is a main attraction in the city. St. John's Pass is a cozy fishing village with wonderful restaurants and unique shps that offer antiques, arts, crafts, clothing, jewerlry and souviners.When tired of shopping at St. John's Pass and sun bathing on the shining white sand, you can walk on the 1,100 foot boardwalk that overlooks the intercostal waterway. Maderia Beach has several public beaches. They are: Archibald Beach Park, Bicentennial Park, County Park, John's Pass Park/South Beach and Kitty Stuart Park.
